ActiveCap – Capital Partners (“ActiveCap”), through its fund ActiveCap I – Portuguese Growth Fund – Fundo de Capital de Risco Fechado (“ActiveCap I”), has completed an investment in DRT Group, a Portuguese company and global reference in the mould-making industry, through a capital increase.
Led by its founders, DRT Group has just celebrated 30 years of activity and is now well positioned to embark on a new phase of business expansion, in partnership with ActiveCap.
The €4 million investment by ActiveCap I has strengthened DRT Group’s capital base, with the primary objective of providing the company with the resources required to implement its business plan. The plan envisages not only further growth in the sectors in which the Group already operates, but also the diversification of its customer and product portfolio into areas where it has been investing in recent years.
The Group also plans to explore sector consolidation opportunities, including potential acquisitions of companies that could complement its existing activities.
