ActiveCap Corporate Bond Fund
The ActiveCap I – Portuguese Growth Fund, managed by ActiveCap – Capital Partners, SCR, S.A., a Private Equity fund management company specializing in high-growth potential companies and actively involved in managing its investments, has completed an investment in the Portuguese company Firmo.
This investment in Firmo, through the injection of equity, will enable the company to acquire Staples Portugal, creating a Portuguese office supplies group with annual sales approaching €100M.
Firmo, headquartered in Porto, has over 70 years of experience in the stationery market, focusing on manufacturing as well as wholesale and retail distribution, operating two cash & carry stores in Portugal. The company exports part of its production to 23 countries and already operates an e-commerce channel. Staples has 34 stores in the country, operating both an online channel and a dedicated channel for large corporate clients.
The ActiveCap I – Portuguese Growth Fund is dedicated to financing expansion and optimization projects for Portuguese companies, through the subscription of equity instruments that strengthen the financial structure of the selected companies.
